On June 22, the launching node for No.102 VLCC of 307,000dwt, which is built for Dynacom of Greece by DSIC, the subsidiary of CSSC, was successfully completed.
Ship type profile
The ship has total length of about 333 meters, shape width of 60 meters, deck area of more than 18000m2, which is close to the area of three standard football fields, shape depth of 30 meters, a height of nearly 20-story building from the bottom of the ship to the wheelhouse, and total coating area of more than 540000m2. Meanwhile, it meets the latest global and special regional emission limits for NOx Tier III, EEDI PHASE III and SOx. It is a new ship type of green, energy-saving and environmental protection.
Keep improving and high standards
37 of the 39 piping systems in the engine room of the ship have been submitted for inspection, with completion rate of 94.9%. 22 of the 24 pipeline systems on deck have been submitted for inspection, with completion rate of 91.7%. 19 items of equipment including the generator, electric panel, auxiliary boiler, fuel oil unit, incinerator and hose crane have been handed over for inspection. The steam test of engine room companion pipe has been completed. The inspection of cables on the whole ship has been completed. It is worth mentioning that all the delivery and inspection items of generators and electrical panels for the ship has been completed before boarding the main engine. |
